Bryan's success with Boating earned him the notice of Hearst Magazines, who hired him to perform similar magic with Popular Mechanics, which had fallen to third place in it's category behind Popular Science and Mechanix Illustrated. Bryan reorganized the magazine into a more cohesive format and used his negotiating skills to increase the number of color pages and printing quality. The new look had quick results as the magazine moved back to the top in newsstands sales, ad pages and profitability where it remained.
He also helped create the first magazine website at Hearst, the PMZone which he continued to manage and update with new technology every day. Besides designing the monthly magazine and website, he designed and produced several new publications including CarSmart and J. D. Power quarterlies and the annual New Car and Truck Buyers Guides. Other responsibilities included hundreds of Popular Mechanics licensed products including packaging approval for Wal-Mart tools, children's games, videos and many other products. Bryan also designed several books produced by the magazine including the Best of Popular Mechanics which celebrated the magazine's 100th anniversary. Bryan's promotional activities included such unique projects as designing a special banner to be displayed in the space station to wrapping a city bus with magazine covers.

Bryan is currently creating new magazines and websites and improving existing ones. Some recent publications he has designed include Holmes, Discover, Canvas, Procurement Travel, Tango, Mike Rowe Works and Canadian Architecture & Design. His extensive network of photographers, illustrators, stylists, producers and printers allows him to provide significant savings of time and money for his clients. Bryan is ready to help you realize your next great idea.
